Today at 3pm Bea Corbacho and Elena Galan del Castillo are presenting their research in the Faculty Club’s Red Room. Their talk titled, “Environmental History of Spanish Agro-Ecosystems”, examines the “co-evolution of nature and society by means of measuring the material flows that result from the interaction between both systems. Material flows can be accounted for by using different indicators. In this kind of research, the most common ones are nutrient and energy balances.” This presentation will illustrate some of the excellent collaborative work being done in the HGIS laboratory.
