HGIS Lab Visiting Scholar: Eduardo Aguilera

Eduardo Aguilera

The HGIS extends a warm welcome to our visiting scholar, Eduardo Aguilera. Aguilera is a PhD student at Pablo de Olavide University in Seville (Spain) and is now at the HGIS research group in Saskatoon for a stay in the framework of the international project “Sustainable Farm Systems: Long-term Socio-Ecological Metabolism in Western Agriculture, 1700-2000”. Eduardo holds a degree in biology and a MSc in agroecology, and his research is focused on the study of agricultural sustainability, both in the present and from a historical perspective. He is specialized in greenhouse gas emissions accounting, energy analyses and nutrient balances of agricultural systems.
