HGIS Lab’s new web site

We’re very excited about our newly designed web site and hope you will find it useful.  The site aims to provide the HGIS community with dynamic, up-to-date information about scholarship connecting history and geography and linking spatial and chronological analysis in innovative ways.  Be sure to take a look at our Bibliography page for a comprehensive review of published books, articles, and chapters about or employing historical GIS methods.  Our Links page provides a similar overview of websites about HGIS.  Readers can add their own comments about the publications and websites featured, and suggest additions.  If you are interested in graduate training in HGIS methods or need custom map-making services or HGIS consulting, you can find out about them here too.  Please let us know what you think about this new forum—we welcome your comments.
